Special Town Meeting November 8, 2011. Polls will open at 6.00 a.m. and will close at 8:00 p.m.
Selectmen’s Meeting Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at 7:00 p.m.
The State of Maine will conduct a Liquor License Appeal Hearing on the appeal of the Town of Buxton Liquor License denial of William Ham, d/b/a Skip’s. The Hearing will be held at the Town of Buxton Municipal Building, 185 Portland Road, Buxton, Maine on November 16, 2011 at 11:00 AM.
We would like to remind people about our schedule for Thanksgiving week: There will be no Selectmen’s Meeting and no evening hours during the week of Thanksgiving. Town Office will be open Monday, November 21st through Wednesday, November 23rd, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. We will be closed Thursday & Friday, November 24 & 25th. The Transfer Station will also be closed Thursday & Friday. They will be open Saturday, November 26th. There will be no curbside trash pickup on Thanksgiving Day so Thursday pickup will take place on Friday.
There will be a Rabies Vaccination Clinic Saturday, December 3, 2011, from 1-3 PM, at the Buxton Public Works Garage. The cost is $8.00 per Vaccination – Cash only. All dogs must be on a leash and all cats must be in carriers. Please bring the previous Rabies Vaccination Certificate. Flyers are on the counter at the Town Office.
